I’m Tricia, a Family Nurse Practitioner here at Coastal Medical. I’ve been in Delaware most of my life, but was an Air Force bonus kid who got to live in several states growing up. Pennsylvania will always be my home where I spent most of my summers with my grandparents who had a huge influence on my life. My Grammy was a nurse at LGH and encouraged my empathetic skills to care for people with passion and dedication. I graduated from DelTech in 1996 with my LPN and was 1 of only 5 people granted immediate admission to the RN program based on my academic standing. I worked over 23 years in Long Term Care in various roles which included Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, Director of Nursing, and consulting for facilities. I earned my Masters as a FNP in 2024 and joined Ronnie at the CWI. In February of 2026, I became certified to complete DOT physicals to better serve our community at the walk-in.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and sons or planning my next travel adventure!

Born and raised right here in Felton, I’ve always had deep roots in our community. SamGerini

Sam Gerini

Medical Assistant

Hi, I’m Sam! I am a medical assistant who tries to keep things running smoother than a pumpkin spice latte machine in October. Born and raised in Philadelphia, I am a die-hard Eagles fan who firmly believes “Go Birds” is both a greeting and a lifestyle.

After moving to Delaware in 2018, I graduated from Sussex Technical High School in 2020 and continued my education at University of Delaware, where I earned my Associate’s degree in 2022. I take pride in my work as both a CNA and CCMA, with experience spanning hospital care at Beebe Healthcare, as well as long-term care, primary care, and urgent care settings.

Working in healthcare means no two days are ever the same—one minute you’re saving the day, the next you’re fixing the printer, and somehow both feel equally heroic. I love caring for my patients and making them smile, even if it’s just with bad jokes and an overabundance of bandages. My goal is simple: to make sure everyone leaves feeling better than when they came in—mentally, physically, and maybe with a fun sticker & lollipop for surviving it all.

When I’m not at work helping my patients, I’m booking cruises like I’ve never heard of bills, trying to adopt animals that absolutely already have homes, walking around car shows in the summer yet thinking about hoodies and spooky season, and eating at new restaurants like Gordon Ramsay might pull up and ask for my opinion.
